Q: What is Mid-Acts Dispensationalism?

Mid-Acts Dispensationalism is the approach of a saved bible-believer to read God’s word with a dispensational mindset. M.A.D. concludes that the dispensation of grace was first revealed to the Apostle Paul (Acts 9), Paul’s epistle are the sole instructions for the body of Christ, and that the only way to take God’s word literally is to know how to make right distinctions by dividing things that are different.

How is one expected, of God, to take all 66 books of the Holy Bible and use them efficiently to fulfil His instruction in 2 Timothy 3:16?

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” – 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV

It would be good to know how God expects us to view and understand His Word… How?

By “rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

Q: How Can You Say Jesus Wasn’t Talking to Me?

Please take the time to read these verses before reading the text below:  Romans 15:8, Romans 9:5, Matthew 10:5-6, Matthew 15:24, John 1:11.

All of these verses illustrate who Jesus was sent to “in His EARTHLY ministry.” This is the whole purpose of discussing the importance of understanding the “mystery.”

The mystery explains how God is directly operating with everyone today,  and not just Israel. The mystery (salvation to Jews and Gentiles alike- by grace through faith) was not known until is was revealed. This revealing does not take place until at least Acts 9, via the Lord Himself to the Apostle Paul.

Look at 1 Timothy 1:16…. What does this verse mean. Read Ephesians 3:3-6… What does this mean?

This is the whole reason in saying that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John do not contain information that applies to the Body of Christ. The Church, the Body of Christ,  did not even exist yet, except for in God’s “hidden” purpose.

“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,” – Romans 16:25

2 Timothy 2:15 & 3:16– All scripture is for us, but not all scripture is to us.

1 Thessalonians 2:13– Jesus did speak to you friend, just not all of His dialogue to you is in the color “red.”

Ephesians 3:9- Paul had a goal set before him, whereas many today do not even acknowledge the “fellowship of the mystery. “

Q: What is the one baptism in Ephesians 4:5?

Many say that the one baptism consists of water, but being put into Christ is not synonymous with being put into water. How are we put into Christ? What kind of baptism? 1 Corinthians 12:13 says this baptism is done by the Holy spirit, along with Ephesians 4:5 saying there’s only one baptism. Are there 2 baptisms, or one?

If it’s water, then the Holy Spirit must be in the water. If it’s a baptism done by the Holy Spirit, then we must not be able to see it… which would really help Colossians stand in the fact that we, if we have trusted the gospel of the grace of God, have undergone a circumcision not made with hands.

This is not water baptism. Water must be read into the passage. This is an erroneous assumption.
There’s only one baptism today, whereas there are over 12 mentioned in the bible… make sure you’re preaching the right one.

We are put into Christ when we “believe and trust” the gospel (Ephesians 1:13-14), not when we are dunked in water. Better to be dry and sealed rather than wet and lost. What’s your faith in? I hope it’s in the power of the Gospel, not the attempt of religion.
